The Importance of Early Learning
Posted 03/15/22Our program guidance for preschooler learning objectives are based on the Head Start Early Learning Framework (HSELOF) for children ages 36 to 48 months. This framework is designed to show a continuum of learning through five central domains: Approaches to Learning, Social and Emotional Development, Language and Literacy, Cognition and Perceptual, Motor and Physical Development.
The HSELOF emphasizes the key skills, behaviors, and knowledge that programs must foster in children ages birth to 5 to help them be successful in school and life. Activities inlcude creating art with playdoh fun, block building, pet week fun, enjoying a book, dramatic play, discovery and science with magnets, bead lacing, block play with road signs and cars, and light block creating. Not to mention building social skills, building their vocabulary, exploring, building fine and gross motor and more.
We look forward to speaking with you about enrollment in our program!
